Complete Dust Collection Solution
for Electronic Industry

Dust removal solutions in Electronic

PCB drilling, PCB routing, V-cutting, central cleaning are common working conditions in the electronics industry, and often need to cooperate with dust collectors to remove dust. While the process involved in electronic industry can release particles in the air, which can harm workers, machines and product sustainability.

PCB Drilling

PCB Drilling Dust Treatment

The PCB board is drilled by a high-speed rotating drill bit. During this process, a large amount of dust and granular metal debris are generated. These dust and debris need to be absorbed in time, otherwise, it will affect the quality of the plate processing.

Solution:

The PCB drilling machine generally reserves a suction cover above each drill bit, and a 20 / 25mm diameter round tube is left above the suction cover for connecting the dust collector. Due to the small pipe diameter and the large particle size of debris, it is necessary to choose an industrial vacuum cleaner with high negative pressure, such as our VZS series, or VZF auto-cleaning series vacuum. For a multi-drilling table, our VJCF series central vacuum system can solve the dust problem well.

PCB Routing

PCB routing Dust Treatment

During PCB routing process, the sheet metal is processed by the high-speed rotating drill bit. During this process, a large amount of dust and granular metal debris are generated. These dust and debris need to be absorbed in time, otherwise it will affect the quality of the plate processing. And the flying dust will also affect employees’ respiratory health.

Solution:

The routing machine is generally reserved with a suction cover above each drill bit, and a 20 / 25mm diameter round tube is left above the suction cover for connecting the dust collector. Due to the small pipe diameter, large particle size and large amount of dust, it is necessary to choose an industrial vacuum cleaner with high negative pressure, such as our SCT3 series or SCT6 series.

V-cut Machine

V-Cutting Dust Treatment

The V-Cutting machine introduces V cuts or slots into the sheet metal plate. During this process, a large amount of dust and granular metal debris will be generated. These dust and debris need to be sucked away in time, otherwise it will affect the quality of the plate processing. Additionally, the suspended dust particles can affect the respiratory health of the workers.

Solution:

Suction hoods are generally reserved above the cutters of V-CUT machines, and round tubes dia 50-100mm are left above the suction hoods for connection to dust collectors. We can choose our VZS series and VJFG series dust collector according to the number and diameter of the dust suction port..

Central Cleaning

Central Cleaning Treatment and solution

For the dust removal of the multi-station PCB processing workshop, our SCT3 high negative pressure central dust collector can be used. Our professional team of engineers can efficiently design the dust removal pipeline which would be connected to each dust suction port of the processing machine. Besides, a control valve can be set at each dust suction port to adjust the airflow according to the actual demand of single machine.

FAQ About Industrial Dust Collector

Most standard collectors filter a high percentage of 2 to 2.5 microns; but I’ve included one that even filters 86% of 1-micron dust particles.

Summary: Small dust collectors for applications up to 1,000 CFM airflow cost between $100 up to $5,000 USD. Pre-fab dust collection systems such as a bin vent or cartridge type collector cost between $10,000 and $80,000 USD.

Depending on the dust characteristics, the correct CFM value should be approximately 100–200 feet per minute of air velocity multiplied by the cross-sectional area of the hood in square feet. Accurate
